Leicester hospitals reports 8 more deaths of patients with coronavirus
Leicester hospital bosses have announced the deaths of eight more Leicester patients with coronavirus.
The University Hospitals of Leicester (UHL) NHS Trust said all of the deceased were aged between their 70 and 90s.
The trust regularly updates the number of patients who die at the Leicester Royal Infirmary, and Glenfield and General hospitals after testing positive for the virus.
Though the deaths were confirmed today they may have occurred in recent days.
